Rumors (Psyre, Ivan, Vorin)

Psyre listened to the last bits of information and sighed. This fight was not going to be an easy one. Naturally, he had known that much, but he had hoped that it would at least be easier than it currently seemed like it would be. He'd had a run in with rune wolves once before, so he knew how dangerous runes used by enemies could be, and it terrified him. The troll would also be smarter than they were, making it an even more significant threat. Psyre was sure that Sven and David knew what they were talking about, but if they weren't able to predict the troll's attack properly and someone less prepared than Sven had to bear the brunt of the assault? And if the troll could move faster than wolves, how could they hope to fight it? The monster could simply charge them, run away, charge again, perhaps from a different direction, and pick them off slowly without them ever getting to truly respond. No matter how he thought about it, Psyre didn't like their chances very much. He decided he'd have to just prepare as best he could and then head on in for the fight, but he still didn't like it. At all.

Psyre set about preparing. First, he activated the Soul Shield rune on his arm, dismissing the effect, just in order to clear up the necessary space on his arm. Then, he set about inscribing the rune that he had spent so long learning. He put it on both arms, and it covered both sides of the two, so his arms were completely covered in the relatively simple rune. He could feel its power, a power too strong for him to use at the moment, but he would be ready to use it when the time came. Then, Psyre set to practicing with his weapons. He wanted to be able to use two weapons effectively, but had been shocked at how difficult it was to actually do so. So, he had started training. It was actually quite pathetic, as he didn't seem to have any clue what he was doing, but bit by bit, he was learning how to move his body such that the blades didn't get in each other's ways and he didn't have to move as awkwardly to put all his power into strikes. 

He stayed there for some time, working with two sticks, trying to perfect his ability to use two weapons simultaneously. He knew his way around the woods, and he was sure he'd catch up to the others in little to no time. But he wanted to be as ready as he could be. He had no intention of dying here. He had plans, and none of them involved dying against a troll because he refused to be patient and careful enough to not get himself killed. So more training it was.
