Money and Shop Rules

It is almost guaranteed that at some point, your character will use money, as almost everything has a cost. Money will simply be in the form of coins, to avoid confusion.

 
To gain money, you can do quests, have an income, sell items, or loot. Robbing someone is also an option, though cannot be done stealthily without the proper class, and spells.
 
To buy an item, simply make a post in the “Shop”, and state what you are buying, how much money you had before, and how much money you have after buying it. Make sure to subtract the cost from your character sheet. Once this topic has been approved, whatever it is that you are buying is now yours.
 
To sell an item, the process is similar to buying. Make a topic in the shop, stating what you are selling, and how much you are going to make from selling it, but, also in which continent you are, for that is where you are selling it. Once it has been approved, remove the money and item from your character sheet. Most items can be sold for 1/4^th of their buying price. If there is no buying price, there will be a selling price listed.

Note that you will not always be successful when trying to sell something. Sometimes, depending on your occupation, and what continent you are in, merchants may be wary of you, and there may be no one willing to buy from you.
