Money and Gold

The following are the rules on money, which is measured in gold. The uses of gold are close to immeasurable, as many different things can be bought and sold.

1. Objects (items, weapons, armor, etc) can only be sold to actual, human players. You cannot sell anything to NPCs (Non-player characters) for any price. 

2. If an object can be bought, it will have a cost. To buy this object, simply make a post in the shop with a link to what you are buying it, and state that you are buying it. Then, wait for approval, and you simply deduct the gold from yourself by yourself, and the object is yours. You may make the purchase anywhere, as long as you are currently inside one of the seven towns. If you are not inside a town, then you must go there to buy. 

3. Remember to always deduct your gold after a purchase, and only add it when it has been an approved gain. Moderators and admins will check the shop purchases and character sheets regularly to ensure that you are deducting as necessary, and only adding gold when approved. 

4. Gold can be given away to other players, however, it must be deducted from yourself when doing so. It can also be simply given away to no one if you so desire to do so. 

5. You can carry infinite amounts of gold on you, so long as you have earned it through approval. For the purpose of not hauling around multiple coin purses, gold weighs nothing, and does not take up space on your character. 

6. You cannot, under any circumstances, buy attributes, skills, spells, or runes. These must be learned and earned properly. 

7. The king/queen, for the most part, are the source of gold for characters. They can, and must, distribute it as they see fit if a mission or task is completed for them. They may also give it out to the people for information, or any other reason, however, it cannot simply be done for no reason. 

8. At the end of each week, every king/queen gets 20 gold for every person that is a part of their land. Rogue's and the king/queen themselves do not count towards weekly gold. 

9. Gold can be stolen or taken, though the risk is high. You may only steal gold from a dead or unconscious body, not a living and conscious being. 

10. When creating a weapon or armor, you still have to buy the materials. However, the materials to make the object cost only 1/10th of the objects price (rounded down to the nearest whole number).

11. Not everything can be bought. Some weapons/items/armor/equipment can only be crafted, and the materials for these items cannot be purchased, and only found through NPCs. Unless an item specifically states otherwise, however, it can be bought.
