Understanding the Game from the Inside

As you have read by now, the actual game play takes place in The Land, which can be found on the home page, however, where to go from there may be a mystery to you. As you can clearly see, there are seven lands, each one its own continent. You will be starting your grand adventure within one of these seven lands, based upon what homeland you placed on your character creation, or you may choose now and fill it in if you have not yet completed character creation. Within each one of these seven lands, you will see four main sections; one city, two wild areas, and one border. To start, you simply have to enter one of the first three (not the borders as it is only used for traversing lands). Let's say you choose the city to start in. Within the city, you will see five unique areas, each one with three unique areas of its own. You can choose any one of these five areas to start in, however, after you choose which, wait a minute more. This is because to start, you have to enter as specific of an area as possible. This means, when in a city, don't try to start in one of the five areas, but instead, choose one of the three sub-areas within one of those five areas. Of course, you may also start in the wild, just be sure to do the same with the areas.  After you have done all this, you are ready to start playing.
You have probably noticed by now that the game style for this game is very different from most others, as it is based off of making topics, and replying to those topics with posts. Yes, this means that the entire game is text-based, and how well you convey your characters speech and ideas is done by you yourself describing it all in detail. This may be not so appealing to some, but to the more writing interested person, you might find it intriguing. 
Now, still on the topic of actually starting, well, you do that through a topic. In the area you chose, you might see other topics, newest to oldest. If you enter these, you can see examples of how exactly the game is played. Now, if you go to the last page, and do not see someone end their final post with "(exit)", you can jump right on is, so long as there isn't a "private" or "invite only" in the title or description of the topic. However, if there isn't a topic you can enter, then you simply start by making your own, which can be done by just clicking on the "new topic" at the top of the page. 

And boom! You're done! It might be that no one else jumps on into this new topic of yours, but don't worry, character interaction is what the game is based off of, so if it doesn't happen in your first topic, it certainly will eventually.
