James training

James had awoken fresh and awake, ready to take on the day, and so he decided to learn a new skill to help strengthen him in combat and surprise.
He walked to the training grounds, where he found dusty straw dummies to practice on. He set them up in various different spots. He then pretended to leave the area only to sneak back in.
He then pretend to stab the first dummy he set up in the back, then quickly ran up to the second one and pretend to slit it's throat. He then rolled, away from the second dummy ended up near shields set up as a way to practice attacking with a swordw, and hid behind the row of shields meant for practice.  He then sneaked down to the end of the shields next to another dummy. He sneaked up behind the dummy, then stabbed it in the back as well. He then ran up to two dummies stationed near the entrance to the gate between the training ground and the armory and as he ran up, he took out his sling, and by using his sling he shot both of them in the back. James grinned as he looked at the area he set up.
He then went back and practiced the course he had made over and over again. He wanted to learn how to do move about on the go and how to sneak up on things, particularly how to sneak up on dummies, but nobody was watching so it didn't really matter that they were fake.
After giving the first dummy range a few goes, he decides to set up the range a little differently, He takes the time, and sets up more dummies. He goes the trouble and makes faces on the dummies so he can make it seem like that they have a field of vision. He then sets them up in different places, even places where they be hard to sneak up on. He makes it where he have to reach one first and take the dummy out before taking on an easier dummies. He puts dummies walking down the center of the training grounds, looking like they were on patrols. He finish places the last dummy in position. He beams at his finished work, his second, harder dummy training course and realized that the noon sun was overhead whenever his stomach started grumbling. He sighed and rubbed his belly. He decided that training could wait on until after food.
"Dang, time for some food, and a well deserved work break." James says, smiling, then walks out of the training ground, heading back to the tower in hopes of finding food.
